Erin graduated from college in May 2008 and was surprised at the lack of resources for college students about what the transition into the "real world" is really like. In an effort to share her experience as a recent college graduate and create a resource for college students and recent grads, she created College Grad Lessons.

Christmas Wishlist

I recently joined Twenty Something Bloggers, a social network hosted through Ning, and thought it would be fun to join in on their December Blog Carnival. I decided to pick the topic, “a wishlist of things you want that are free,” so here’s what that wishlist looks like:

Dear Santa,

I’ve been very (or at least for the most part) good this year. In light of the current economic recession, I thought I’d ask for some things that didn’t cost money.

Here is what I’d like for Christmas:

  1. See some friends that I haven’t seen since the summer and some that I haven’t seen in over a year while I’m at my parents house for the holidays.
  2. Doing okay on the GRE next month. (Yes, I probably should be studying now instead of writing this.)
  3. To get into graduate school so I can continue to build my web design/interaction design/information architecture skills.
  4. Snow in Southern Maryland this January.
  5. New blogger friends. :)

Hope I made the nice list this year. I promise to leave lots of Christmas cookies by the tree.

-Erin
