Final Exam Week Survey - Win Free Christmas Cookies!
One of my friends, Melinda, sent me a facebook message last night saying she finally got the chance to check out the blog while she was taking a break from writing a paper that was due at midnight. I was thrilled that she had a chance to check out the blog and enjoyed it, but her message also reminded me that I was glad I wasn’t writing papers or studying for exams on a Friday night.
For those of you that are going through final exam week, here’s a quick survey to take during a study break. Post a comment on this post with your answers and I’ll bake cookies and mail them to the people that answer first and tenth, as well as for one random person that posts between those two. If we get past twenty comments, I’ll pick two more random people. If you’re a college grad, please join in too! The survey will end Monday at midnight (Eastern Standard Time).
Here are the questions:
1. What do you want to be when you grow up if it could be anything and why?
2. What are you (or were you) nervous about after graduating from college?
3. What’s the best holiday gift for a college student?
I look forward to reading your posts! Please share this with people by posting the link in your Facebook status, on your blog, on Twitter, etc.

1. A vital employee of a company large or small.
2. The economy and the strain it will have on the job market. Not being able to pay off my student loans or being able to eat.
3. Gift cards to CVS, Grocery store, etc etc. Something that can be useful

1. I want to be a social psychologist because I have an immense curiosity in people in general. Human identity and interaction happens every moment of every day. I would like to know how people form their identities, and how do those identities affect your interactions with everyone else in the world.
2. Being able to go to the grad school I want and be able to afford to live out of state.
3. Gift cards or food in general

1. I’m a grown up and I still don’t know. Hey, why do I have to be defined by my career, anyway? I’d like to be a generally awesome person, forever. Real answer? Applied anthropologist, maybe. For the international travel and the professional salary to support my lush lifestyle of buying food and drinking boxed wine.
2. Getting a job, maintaining my social relationships in a new environment, being able to afford being an adult (true story! not easy!).
3. Alcohol, seriously. Food is always a nice bonus but did you know those Olde English 40s have like 800 calories in them? For sure. I guess some nice pens & notebooks, otherwise, for quality margin-doodling in your favorite classes.
Oh btw, I like snickerdoodles. Just sayin’…

1. I have no idea. I’ve always wanted to do something with architecture, but I didn’t go to school for it, so who knows. I’d like to like my job, and be able to travel a little, and have 2 weeks off in the summer.
2. Getting a job, and not living with all of my friends
3. Gift cards. Or clothes, as long as we have a choice in picking most of them out.
