Great ideas! Glad to see you checking out the blog again. I'd really appreciate it if you encouraged others to check it out and leave comments so we can build a community of college students and recent grads. Hope your day is going well!

Mrs. Csernak gave me a housewarming gift of dish and hand towels, dish soap, oven mits, and all-purpose cleaner, all of which I still use to this day (well, those that haven't already run out!).

All-purpose cleaning wipes, a Swiffer, and a small, hand-vac are also great. The hand-vac's great for keeping the car relatively clean and professional-looking.

Decent trash can, haha, I'm naming all cleaning stuff.

If the place doesn't have adequate lighting, (something I neglected to think about when I moved in) some good lamps.

Wall-mounted CD/DVD shelves. Having a mini shelf gives you a utilitarian option to decorating that higher section of the wall.

Shoe rack, especially if you're running a shoes-off house (helps keep the floor cleaner).
